The spokesman of the Egyptian company for metro management and operation Ahmed Abdelhady Bakeer announced a sudden failure of the electrical grid between Nasser and Sadat stations and the trains are operating from Alsayeda Zienab to Helwan stations and from Eldemerdash to New Elmarg stations in both directions. The service is stopped in the failure site. All teams of emergency are there to fix the failure as soon as possible and a number of trains are added to absorb any congestion that may happen. The metro spokesman urged the passengers to contact us through the hotline 16048 or whatsapp 01221116048 or the official page of cairo metro on Facebook or the official site cairometro.gov.eg for receiving any complaints , suggestions and inquiries concerning metro besides existing offices for complaints in a number of metro stations affiliated with the unified government complaints system affiliated to the Council of Ministers, in order to receive all complaints of citizens related to all parties, not just the metro.
