Al-Waleed bin Toulan Mosque
Ibn Tulun Mosque, Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque, or Tulunid Mosque is one of the famous archaeological mosques in Cairo. It was ordered to be built by Ahmad ibn Tulun, the founder of the Tulunid state, in the year 263 AH/877 AD in his new city of Al-Qata’i, to become the third mosque mosque built in the Islamic capital of Egypt after the Amr ibn Al-Aas Mosque, which was built in Fustat, and the Al-Askar Mosque, which was built in the city of Al-Askar, although the Amr ibn Al-Aas Mosque still exists. However, the Tulunid Mosque is considered the oldest existing mosque in Egypt to date, because it has preserved its original state compared to the Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque, which underwent several repairs that changed its features.
El Sayeda Zeinab Mosque
Sayyida Zainab Mosque is one of the largest and most famous mosques in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and is attributed to the granddaughter of the Messenger of God, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, Zainab bint Ali bin Abi Talib. Al-Ubaidli’s lineage mentions that Zainab bint Ali departed to Egypt, as he mentions narrations that she departed to Egypt, as well as Yasser Al-Habib and Muhammad Sadiq Al-Karbasi mentioned in his book Dictionary of Ansar Al-Hussein, and some consider that the buried is one of the granddaughters of Imam Ali and perhaps she is Zainab bint Yahya Al-Mutaj bin Al-Hasan Al-Anwar bin Zaid bin Al-Hasan bin Ali bin Abi Talib, and in another opinion, the buried is Zainab bint Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Jaafar bin Muhammad bin Al-Hanafiyya, and Sheikh Al-Mufid mentions that there are three daughters of Imam Ali named Zainab, and they are Zainab the eldest and Zainab the youngest. Their mother is Fatima Al-Zahra and the other Zainab is her mother. Mother of a boy. It was said that Umm Kulthum, who was Zainab al-Sughra, died in Egypt and was buried in this place.
