The Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University It was established in 1942, by Royal Decree No. (93) of 1950, as a higher agricultural institute in Shebin El-Kom, Menoufia Governorate. In 1952, the institute was transformed into the College of Agriculture, affiliated with the former Ibrahim Pasha University. In 1954, the university’s name was changed to “Ain Shams University.”
